Women for Women’s Human Rights (WWHR) – New Ways organized a parallel session,“Life in host countries: Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights and Violence Against Women in the case of Refugee Women and Girls” on the 22nd of March, 2016 at the Commission on the Status of Women (CSW60) in New York.
Event Description: The session will bring to light the severe violations refugee women and girls face in terms of sexual and reproductive health rights and violence against women, from both a global perspective as well as from the perspective of Syrian refugees in Turkey. Agenda will include providing suggestions in light of the 2030 Agenda, for the wellbeing of refugee women and girls.
