The UN, International Women's Solidarity and Women's Human Rights
Women for Women’s Human Rights-New Ways, placing equal importance on activities at national and international levels, is an active participant in UN mechanisms and processes and in international women’s solidarity movements and forums.
On the international platform, WWHR operates in various ways ranging from participating in or initiating international action through to advocacy and lobbying, from bridging national and international fields to joining or establishing support networks.
Our two basic goals at the international level are to:
Influence and shape international decision-making processes and policies
Contribute to the development of strategies to eliminate discrimination against women through the exchange of ideas and information and, in solidarity, taking full advantage of our diversities as the rich source of power they are.
